KwikCOOL air conditioning hire kick's major PLC offsite due to poor service, poor product selection and extortionate pricing.
The story starts with the same old story KwikCOOL air conditioning hire come across all the time, the client a major PLC had ordered Aircon from a "so called leading expert in Air conditioning hire) when the equipment was delivered, it was just left in the reception area with no training.
The Plc provide planning and development, energy and environmental management consultancy with over 3,200 staff operating from over 50 domestic offices and 30 overseas offices. The group is based in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, USA, Canada, Australia and Malaysia but it has provided consultancy services to clients in over 120 countries worldwide.
When the Aircon units were put in location all of the units were covered in dust, one unit had a broken control panel, One unit cooling the main office did not provide any cooling. Obviously they were not happy with this service or the hire units supplied.
They contacted KwikCOOL at 4.30pm and at 10.30am the next day a specialist air conditioning hire sales engineer visited site to access their requirements. Whilst on site carry out a cooling survey Chris Easterlow entered an office with 15 people and computer equipment he viewed the competitors air con hire unit, to his amazement it was an evaporative cooler (not suitable around computers), due to the lack of training the client was not made aware they had to fill the evaporative cooler with water for it to work. Having pointed this out the client was amazed that such a so called industry leader equipment and service was so poor.
Whilst on site Chris Easterlow did the heating load calculations and advised the client they required 5 off KwikCOOL 10 and gave a verbal quotation, the client was shocked at the current suppliers pricing @ £37 per week for a 2kw unit. The client placed the order immediately with KwikCOOL and off hired our competitors equipment.
As The KwikCOOL sales engineer was leaving the competitors units were being loaded onto their transport. The next day the five KwikCOOL 10 air conditioners were delivered, installed and operators trained to the satisfaction of the client, who are now happy to recommend KwikCOOL to their other offices.
The moral of this story is
• Call KwikCOOL and you get a professional air conditioning engineer who knows his trade and every convincible application and will only provide the cooling solution you need.
• Always ask for a cooling load calculation
• Always insist on installation
• Always insist on training.
Chris Easterlow said "This is typical of many other hire companies, sending any old unit to site instead of accessing the clients true requirments, this is why KwikCOOL stands out our fleet is the newest in the hire industry and we will not comprise our service to our ever growing client base"
