The Welsh NHS Trust covers a large geographical area of renowned natural beauty.
The Welsh NHS Trust contacted KwikCOOL air conditioning hire after seeing our information on the internet. They had a requirement for approximately 20Kw of cooling for their RENAL UNIT.
The unit initially opened in 1985 as the first PFI dialysis centre in the UK. The current unit was opened in 1998 as a purpose build unit on the ground of the Trusts main hospital. The stunning views from the panoramic windows of the Renal unit are those of the Snowdonia Mountains.
The unit consists of 16 Haemodialysis stations, which also provide Haemodiafiltration and Plasmaphoresis and a fully developed peritonealdialysis programme with CAPD and APD facilities and provides vital services that have to be maintained.
After initial discussions with the Trust, KwikCOOL air conditioning hire confirmed that two KwikCOOL 35 ducted air conditioning units would be the best solution for the needs of the Renal unit. A quotation was supplied the same day and an order was gained by Katie Barnett. Delivery was requested and arranged, the KwikCOOL 35 air conditioning units were despatched the next day.
A specialist KwikCOOL engineer demonstrated the operation of the units on site. The two KwikCOOL 10.23kw units operate from a 13 amp socket, the two aircon hire units are providing cooling for the whole of the unit while the NHS Trust undertakes repairs undertaken on the installed system.
KwikCOOL provide a true 24 hour call out for the NHS trust due to the nature of this hire (keeping patients cool while waiting for appointments and treatment).
KwikCOOL provided a cost effective solution to the NHS Trust, as Best Value is core to KwikCOOL air conditioning hire services. |
